Badger surveys

Badgers and their setts are legally protected under the Protection of Badgers Act 1992. It is a criminal offence to kill, injure or take a badger, damage, destroy or obstruct access to any part of a badger sett or disturb a badger whilst it is occupying a sett.

How we can help

Our badger survey will help you to establish whether your project is likely to affect badgers on your site. And if it looks like it will, our experts can help you apply for and comply with a Natural England licence.
